ACUSA is a nonprofit community organization dedicated to supporting welfare and cultural unity for Amaimo people in the diaspora and sustainable healthcare, education, and community development at home.
Who We Are
Amaimo Community USA (ACUSA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 2006 to unite Amaimo indigenes in the United States and support the well-being and development of Amaimo communities. For more than 19 years, ACUSA has been a trusted platform for cultural connection, charitable giving, and community-driven impact.

We are raising funds to support a healthcare clinic run by an ACUSA hired medical doctor and nurse and to provide needed medications for the clinic.

A New Chapter: 2025 and Beyond
The 2025 convention in Ontario, California, marked the election of a new executive cabinet led by Major Henry Mgbemena (rtd) as National President and Mrs. Miriam Oguejiofor (née Anokwa) as Vice President. This administration is focused on expanding ACUSA’s outreach, fostering global partnerships, and advancing the organization’s founding goals—the civic and social development of Amaimo.
Good evening my brothers and sisters of Amaimo Community United States of America (ACUSA).
My name is Mr Theophilus Okoro, I’m from Umuochameze Obodo Amaimo Ikeduru.
I sincerely want to thank you all for the wonderful opportunity given to me during your last medical mission here in Amaimo to carry out eye surgery on me, which I have suffered for many years now but since after the surgery, I will testify that I can see very well now.
Please, I really thank you all. and pray that God will help you people to come again to help our people because so many of our people are suffering from different types of sicknesses.

To the acusa medical team that came to amaimo in ikeduru lga last year. my name is Cmrd Regy Onuoha, I had an eye surgical operation in less than one hour and it was successful. I am using this chance to thank you for the wonderful work of God done to people free of charge. It’s only God that will reward you all. Earlier I wasn’t seeing at all with my right eye but immediately the surgery was done, I bagan noticing images and right now am seeing and reading clearly. Thank you and God bless you all in Jesus mighty name Amen.
My name is Mrs Okorie Getrude Ngozi from Okwelle in Onuimo LGA imo state.
I am one of the beneficiaries of Acusa free eye medical mission that was held in December 2024, I have a case of Pterygium eye problem.
I was the first person they operated on the first day, I can now see very well, no pains again, I am so happy and grateful to you people.
